Tour de France

France has always been at the top of my travel bucket list, and I finally got to go this fall! This was my first time in Europe and it was everything I’d dreamed of. Getting to spend my birthday there was the most wonderful experience. My two weeks there started in Paris, visiting the Louvre, the Palace of Versailles, and took a train to visit Fontainebleau for a day. I then meandered down to a little beach town, Cassis, where I hiked the Calanques and took a dip in the Mediterranean Sea. Finally I headed toward the French Alps where I stayed in a 500 year old farmhouse in a quiet little town of only 30 people.
