An Elegant Camargo Club Wedding in Cincinnati
Madeline & Jack
Some wedding days feel joyful from the very beginning, and Madeline and Jack’s celebration in Cincinnati was exactly that. From a relaxed morning at Camargo Club to an evening filled with music and dancing beneath a beautifully draped tent, the entire day felt both elegant and full of energy. Madeline grew up in Cincinnati and attended Saint Ursula Academy, making it especially meaningful to return to the city to celebrate their wedding. Although she and Jack now live in Chicago, their wedding brought together family and friends from near and far for a weekend that felt deeply personal to them both.
Located in the quiet hills of Indian Hill just outside Cincinnati, the Camargo Country Club offers an exceptionally private setting for wedding celebrations. With its sweeping golf course views and classic club architecture, it creates a beautiful backdrop for couples who want a celebration that feels both refined and relaxed. Madeline and Jack’s wedding was a perfect example of how effortlessly elegant a Camargo Club wedding can be.
Getting Ready at Camargo Club
The day began at the Camargo Club, a private club tucked into the quiet hills of Indian Hill just outside Cincinnati. The peaceful setting made it the perfect place for the morning preparations as Madeline and her bridesmaids got ready together while Jack and his groomsmen prepared nearby.
Madeline wore a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown paired with timeless beauty styling by Brideface, while Jack looked classic in a tuxedo from Trevor Furbay. Before the ceremony, Madeline and Jack shared a first look in front of Camargo’s beautiful white clubhouse. The moment was both emotional and relaxed, giving them time together before the celebration truly began.
Portraits on the Camargo Club Grounds
Following their first look, we spent time exploring the Camargo Club grounds for portraits. The sweeping greens and mature trees surrounding the club create a beautiful natural setting for wedding photographs, and the late afternoon light made the entire landscape glow.
We photographed Madeline and Jack together, followed by wedding party portraits and family photos on the grounds. Everything felt calm and joyful as the excitement of the ceremony began to build.
Soon after, the wedding party and immediate family climbed aboard a charming trolley bus that transported everyone to the ceremony location—an incredibly fun and memorable way to begin the next part of the day.
Ceremony at Saint Ursula Academy
Madeline and Jack were married at Saint Ursula Academy, a place that holds special meaning for Madeline, who attended school there. After arriving by trolley, we took advantage of the academy’s stunning interior parlors for additional portraits of the couple. These rooms are rarely accessible and are typically reserved only for very special occasions, making it even more meaningful for Madeline to return to the place where she once walked as a student—now as a bride on her wedding day.
Their ceremony was accompanied by a beautiful string quartet performance by StringSource, filling the chapel with music as Madeline and Jack exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends.
Outdoor Cocktail Hour at Camargo Club
After the ceremony, guests returned to Camargo Club where the celebration continued with an outdoor cocktail hour on the lawn. The evening light and sweeping views of the golf course created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere as guests mingled and enjoyed the setting. Live music by Downtown Band added to the joyful energy of the evening as everyone gathered before dinner.
A Lively Tented Reception
The reception took place beneath an elegant tent on the club grounds, beautifully designed by Wolf and Bird Events. Soft draping by Fitz the Occasion, lush floral design by Robin Wood Flowers, and refined linens from BBJ La Tavola transformed the space into a warm and inviting setting for the evening.
Guests were led into the reception in the most joyful way—Downtown Band began playing and quite literally led everyone in a celebratory line from cocktail hour straight into the tent, setting the tone for the lively night ahead.
The reception design included beautiful rentals from All Occasions and custom bar installations by Oakley and Hyde Designs. A gorgeous cake by A Spoon Fulla Sugar completed the elegant details of the evening.
Once the dancing began, the tent quickly filled with energy as friends and family celebrated Madeline and Jack late into the night.
The day was also beautifully captured on film by Vivid Wedding Videos, ensuring every moment of the celebration will be remembered for years to come.
Planning a Camargo Club wedding in Cincinnati is truly a special experience, and Madeline and Jack’s celebration beautifully captured the atmosphere and elegance the venue is known for.
